Two minutes is plenty. We'd rather hear ninety seconds you've actually lived with than four minutes you learned last night. Aim for something that sits comfortably adult, roughly thirty to fifty — but if a piece speaks to you and the age is off, take it anyway and tell us why.

A:I appreciate that.
B:I’m happy you asked. I think it’s—
A:Really? That’s great.
B:Sure.
A:Surprising, but—
B:I guess I meant more flattered than happy.
A:Oh, okay.
B:I mean, it’s a lot to ask.
A:I know. And I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important.
B:I appreciate that.

B:Oh. You need an answer right now?
